Age Concern Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan (AGE Connects)

We are Age Connects Cardiff and the Vale, an independent registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. Our vision is to live in a society where older people are respected and enabled to meet their aspirations.

For decades, local charity Age Connects Cardiff and the Vale has been here to help and support local older people and their families through some of the most difficult times in their life.
We are committed to tackling loneliness, isolation and poverty amongst older people and strive to create a society where older people are respected, valued and heard.

Age Connects is proud of its long history of providing volunteer support to older people. We have close to 300 amazing volunteers and we could not provide our services without their invaluable help.

Befrienders
Drivers
Café Staff

But we also have a wide range of other volunteering opportunities available. If you can commit to a minimum of 6 months and feel you could spare 1 or 2 hours a week to give your time to support an older person, we would love to hear from you.
