Supporting parent/carers of children and young people who are neurodivergent within Cardiff and the surrounding areas.
• ND Community Connectors CIC provides free information and signposting events for parents and carers either before their child receives a neurodevelopmental (ND) assessment or after an ND diagnosis.
We also provide workshops for professionals looking to improve their knowledge of locally available neurodevelopmental support and services. These events spread awareness and knowledge of the services, support and resources available to families either during the long wait for an ND assessment or once a diagnosis has been given. This allows families access to information and timely tailored support based on their needs not a diagnosis.
Our lived experience of the ND assessment pathway as parents/carers and professionals shapes our service and drives us to provide neuro-inclusive events.
