The Igbo Union Wales was founded to celebrate and preserve the rich cultural heritage of the Igbo community in Wales. Our mission is to foster unity and support among Igbo families, ensuring that traditions are passed down through generations. Since our inception, we have organized numerous events that bring the community together, promoting cultural understanding and appreciation. We believe in the power of community support, which is why we actively engage in projects that uplift and empower Igbo families. Promote Igbo Culture and Heritage To promote and preserve the Igbo culture, traditions, language, and history through events, programs, and educational initiatives. Social Integration To facilitate the integration of Igbo people into Welsh society, fostering mutual understanding and respect between the Igbo community and the wider population. Community Support To offer a supportive network for Igbo families and individuals in Wales by providing resources, advice, and support services (such as legal, health, education, and social welfare). Youth Empowerment and Education To empower Igbo youth through mentorship programs, scholarships, and educational workshops that help them excel academically and personally.
