Tempo Time Credits began in the Welsh Valleys in 2009 as a simple but powerful idea: time given = time recognised. What started as paper Time Credits exchanged between neighbours and local groups has grown into a national movement for co-production, connection, and participation. Over time, our model has proved its power: it helps people see the value they bring, strengthens relationships, and opens access to meaningful opportunities for everyone involved.
