Lisvane Old School Community Centre

Located on the corner of Llwyn y Pia Road and Heol y Delyn, (CF14 0SX) the Old School complex is owned by Lisvane Community Council and has provided venues for many village activities in the past as well as accommodating the Community Library.

Getting Involved. To achieve our vision of daily opening requires a number of people to staff the building. To achieve this within our current funding requires that the paid staff will need to be supported by volunteers. There are opportunities for volunteering in the following areas:

• café to help with coffee, teas and refreshments;
• administration, supporting bookings etc.;
• caretaking duties such as opening and locking up and preparation of rooms;
• cleaning;
• helping with the Library.

Nobody will be expected to be involved for periods longer than they are comfortable with and of course it’s a great way of meeting new friends.  If you are interested, please contact Mrs Chris Davies (see below).
