Situated in the west of Cardiff, The Church of the Resurrection (affectionately known by locals as ‘The Res’) witnesses to the love God has for all people in an inclusive and caring environment. We have served the vibrant community of Ely in Cardiff since 1934 and our church family is made up of long-standing faithful communicants and a growing number of young families.
The church is part of the West Cardiff Ministry Area in the Diocese of Llandaff, and the Ministry Area Leader is The Reverend Andrew Sully. Our Vicar is Canon Jan Gould BEM.
Our worship is centred on The Holy Eucharist. Please, join us on Sunday at 8am or 10am but do check to make sure there have been no changes due to illness, holidays or special occasions.
We have excellent relationships with local state and church schools and we work to help transform the lives of children and young people through the Making Music Changing Lives scheme set up by our priest, Canon Jan Gould. Our bereavement ministry touches the lives of many people and there is a relatively strong demand for baptisms.
