The Friends of Roath Park was formed in March 2011 to provide support for Roath Park and its public amenities. Our activities include
- Volunteer working sessions, e.g. assisting in the conservatory, coppicing, dead-heading, weeding, painting benches, litter cleaning, manning plant sales etc. Tools, equipment, and guidance are provided by the park rangers. The workday sessions are held monthly, and also on certain week days to work with the park gardeners on specific tasks
- Seasonal events (e.g Christmas wreath making) Open Days, guided walks, talks
- Fund-raising and additional events as opportunities/challenges/needs arise.
